JPSO searching for driver, car in connection with Walmart arson

JPSO searching for vehicle in connection with Marrero Walmart fire

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for information on a driver of a vehicle seen on video leaving Walmart the day of the arson.

Investigators believe the primary suspect, Jerold Jackson, started a fire in the Halloween section of the Walmart store at 4810 Lapalco Blvd. in Marrero.

Jackson was arrested Wednesday night.

JPSO is still seeking information on the vehicle, and the driver seen leaving the day of the incident.
