NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -Finally, our first Fall cold front has finally arrived! Noticeably cooler and less humid air will move in today. Plan for a pleasant feel and lots of sunshine.
Sweater weather is here for Friday morning, we’ll wake up to temperatures in the low 50s on the north shore and mid 60s on the south shore. Sunny skies will continue as highs climb only to the upper 70s.
The dry air will stick around all weekend, but a gradual warm up is expected. Another cold front is likely early next week which could spark up a few showers, but the timing is still a bit in question.
The tropical Atlantic continues to be active, but there are no threats to our area.
