NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A brief warm-up with more humidity is on the way for Friday. However it will only last into the first part of Saturday. An even stronger cold front will arrive late Saturday bringing a nice cool to almost chilly change for Sunday. Rain chances look low on Saturday with only a few showers expected with the front.
Cooler air will continue to pour into the area on Sunday and that means many areas may stay in the 60s all day or just briefly touch 70 degrees. There will be plenty of sunshine. The coldest morning will be on Monday with 40s on the North Shore and 50s for most of the South Shore.
