NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Today will feature a brief warm-up with more humidity. This will only last through Saturday afternoon thanks to a strong cold front heading our way. This front will cross the area late Saturday bringing an almost chilly feel for Sunday. Rain chances look low on Saturday with only a few showers expected with the front.
Cooler air will pour into the area overnight Saturday and on Sunday. Many spots will struggle to get out of the 60s with highs just briefly hitting the low 70s for some. There will be plenty of sunshine. The coldest morning will be on Monday with upper 40s on the north shore and 50s for many south of the lake.
We’ll transition to a more rainy pattern for the mid-late part of next week.
