Man accused of shooting bail bondsman surrenders to NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Malik London, the man accused of shooting a bail bondsman, turned himself in Friday at the New Orleans police Seventh District station.

London, 22, was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on one count of attempted second-degree murder and two counts of battery on a dating partner.

The shooting happened in near the lake in the 6600 block of Franklin Ave. just before 2 p.m.

The victim was shot by a man in a Chevrolet Silverado, police said. The perpetrator then fled the scene.
