NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Lakeshore jumped out to a 13-0 lead over Franklinton before Demons running back Michael Martin ripped off an 80-yard dash to draw close. That’s when the Titans kicked into high gear to score 32 unanswered to end the half and tack on another seven in the second half to win, 52-7.
The Titans improve to 8-0 in head coach Craig Jones' fifth season. Jones told FOX 8 after the game that last year’s 14-0 start to the season changed the way his team approached 2018 “It’s kind of an expectation where the kids last year....it was the first time going 10-0 and getting a playoff win then getting to the Dome and checking off all of these boxes of first times where now, our kids are focused on taking care of what we need to this week. Let’s take care of business and move on to the next game.”
Lakeshore’s next game will be on the road at Pearl River (6-1) while Franklinton travels to Salmen.
