NOPD: Man breaks free from carjacker by biting him
The New Orleans Police Department says a man managed to break free from a carjacker in front of his home Saturday night.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department says a man managed to break free from a carjacker in front of his home Saturday night.

According to the victim, he was unloading groceries from his vehicle in front of his home in the 1300 block of Moss Street around 8 p.m. when two unknown black males walked by. One of the men put the victim in a headlock and demanded the keys to his vehicle. The victim managed to bite the suspect who then threw the victim to the ground. The victim began screaming for help and the two men fled the area on foot.

The suspects were last seen fleeing eastbound on Moss Street and then in an unknown direction.
