NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Devin White suspension was still the talk of South Louisiana three days after the ejection. Coach Ed Orgeron was in New Orleans and got peppered with numerous questions about White’s ejection.

Ed Orgeron breaks down the Devin White ejection, and looks forward to matchup with Alabama

White will miss the first two quarters of the LSU-Alabama game after getting hit with a targeting call against Mississippi State.

" I think that it was a very unfair call. I don’t think that targeting should have been called. I think he tried to pull off. I think it’s a very stiff penalty. I understand the targeting rule, and I’m all for it. But i think that rule should have been overturned. Really should have been overturned, should have not been targeting. He did not try to hit him with his head. He put his hands in front. But it’s the rule, we have to move on. We can’t blink, someone has to step up. Patrick Queen, Micah Baskerville, Damone Clark. Guys are going to have to step up and have to play," said Ed Orgeron.
