NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Senior quarterback Andrew Robison is eligible to play after winning an appeal against the Louisiana High School Athletic Association. The Tigers visit H.L. Bourgeois in Houma Friday night. Robison can play in that matchup, and in the playoffs.

“I can’t even believe it; it feels like a dream,” Robison told Jim Derry of the Times-Picayune. “I am pumped. I saw it on a tweet, and I was like, ‘What? Is this real?’ Like, I couldn’t believe I was seeing it on Twitter. … I went outside, and I was screaming, ‘Let’s go!’ People were outside doing their yard and stuff, and somebody asked me, ‘What’s wrong?’ And I said, ‘I can play!’

Hahnnville Coach Nick Saltaformaggio, also was cleared by the arbiter. Coach Salt served a four-game suspension to start the season.

The arbiter ruled that the finding of illegal recruitment is arbitrary and capricious and that the family did complete a bona fide move.
