NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -A cold front will work its way across the area during the morning hours. Then, showers will end and clouds will gradually clear throughout the day. Highs will top out in the mid 60s today and tomorrow.
A weak area of low pressure over the Gulf of Mexico may bring a little rain early on Thanksgiving morning. Aside from that, a dry and beautiful day is on tap. Dry skies will last through Black Friday morning, but storm chances increase later in the day.
At this time, the weekend looks mostly dry with warmer temperatures. A few showers are possible on Sunday as a much stronger cold front arrives Sunday night. Next week will be chilly with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s and 40s.
