NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The playoffs are here. The Saints are the No. 1 seed. But while the stakes have been raised, Drew Brees says the intensity has not.

Drew Brees talks playoff intensity

“If you approach every game in the season like it’s the most important game, then I don’t think there’s any difference. It’s not like ‘oh it’s time to crank it up now.’ No we’ve been cranking it up. We’ve had that same approach, had that same preparation, had that same process. So that when these games come around, it’s to me, been there done that. But of course, just understanding that it is a single elimination tournament, right? It’s win or go home, and obviously we want to win,” said Brees.

The Saints have off this week, but it’s not your typical bye week. Brees says the team is practicing with a heavy emphasis on self scouting and fundamentals.
