NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Earlier in the week, Eagles left tackle Jason Peters claimed the Saints “ran up the score” in their regular season matchup. New Orleans crushed Philadelphia in week 11, 48-7.

“We didn’t play well at all. They ran up the score. We wanted them again, we got them again. This time, hey, we coming. It’s definitely not going to be the same outcome," said Peters.

This morning, Eagles head coach Doug Pederson contradicted Peters thoughts to the New Orleans media in a conference call.

“I saw it in my media notes that I get every day, but I didn’t really think much of it. I mean we didn’t play well, and we didn’t stop the Saints that day, and I would probably do the same thing. I mean you got to keep playing the game. You have to play for 60 minutes, and we didn’t do a good job stopping them obviously, and so no I didn’t think that was the case at all," said Doug Pederson.
