NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The FBI New Orleans Field Office and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding the suspect who robbed the Jefferson Financial Credit Union in Gretna Friday afternoon (Jan. 11).
At about 1:50 p.m., a man entered the credit union, approached the teller window and presented a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled.
The suspect is described as a black male with a medium build wearing a dark, blue-green sweatshirt with hood, reflective sunglasses, and dark pants.

This robbery is being investigated by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the FBI New Orleans Violent Crime Task Force.
