Fans, retailers, hospitality gear up for big game

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Saints playoff match-up against the Eagles is just a day away, and eager fans are primed to party. This, as bars, restaurants and retailers gear up to get them ready and show them a good time.

Celebrations are already underway as Who Dats prepare for this weekend's playoff game against the Philadephia Eagles.

Yet, for those still gearing up, Dirty Coast has a few ideas. The store’s Director of Product Development, Price Provenzano, says business is always good, but these days, it’s even better.

"They've (The Saints) have been doing really well all season long and, now that we're going into the playoffs, people are more excited than ever to grab a piece of the black and gold," said Provenzano.

Dirty Coast isn't the only Magazine shop capitalizing on the Saints' success. Management with Cool Kids says they can barely stay stocked.

"Obviously, the better they do, the more we sell, which we're thankful for. But it's been definitely hard to keep up with the demand," said store manager Stevie Allen.

As retailers revel in the recent boost to business, black and gold fans look toward their first playoff win of the year.
