NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Warmer weather will be the rule for the next couple of days. There is a chance for a few showers on Thursday and maybe on Friday as well.
The big change arrives this weekend. A cold front brings a line of rain and maybe a few storms on Saturday. It will turn windy and colder behind the front by Saturday evening. While it will be dry on Sunday, it will be windy and cold with highs in the 40s. Winds will likely gust over 30 mph at times and the wind chill will be in the 30s all day.
A fast warm-up begins late Monday with the next chance for rain on Wednesday.
