NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -Drew Brees and Michael Thomas will not play in the Pro Bowl Sunday, according to NFL.com.

A press release was issued by the Dallas Cowboys announcing that Dak Prescott would replace Brees and Amari Cooper would replace Thomas.

According to the report, both Saints players are sitting out due to injuries.

Brees and Thomas were expected to start in the game.

Other starters included defensive end Cameron Jordan and left tackle Terron Armstead. Max Unger, a center, was also selected to the Pro Bowl roster, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

Jordan said Monday he planned to play in the game, while Unger and Armstead both were undecided, according to the report.
