NOPD: Gretna man admits to Bourbon Street battery
Quinnton Marshall, 33, was arrested after he allegedly struck a man in the head in the French Quarter.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -A Gretna man has admitted to punching a person in the head on Bourbon Street, according to a report by our partners NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

According to the report, The New Orleans Police Department booked Quinnton Marshall with second-degree battery.

According to NOPD, the victim was struck from behind in the 400 block of Bourbon Street on Jan. 18.

The victim was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground, striking his head on the concrete, according to NOPD. He remains at the hospital in critical condition.

Marshall had his bond set at $50,000.
