NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Nickell Robey-Coleman just can’t stay away from fines for illegal hits it appears.
The NFL handed down a fine of $26,739 to Robey-Coleman for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Patriots running back Rex Burkhead during Super Bowl LIII.
That’s the same amount the Ram cornerback received for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis in the NFC title game. That play would become know n as the “NOLA no-call.”
The NFL Network reported Robey-Coleman is appealing the fine for the hit on Lewis.
