Midday Rain Ends-Clearing Late Breezy And Cooler

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -The cold front that brought heavy morning rains is moving quickly east. Rain will end by mid afteroon as skies will clear later tonight.

Behind the front temperatures drop into the low 60s and upper 50s. Cool, dry, and sunny conditions arrive for Wednesday. We will start off in the upper 30s north of the Lake and mid 40s south. Highs will reach the low 60s in the afternoon.

Another weak front will approach the area on Friday. As of now, the weekend looks mostly dry with mild temperatures as the parade scene really begins to roll
