NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -The big warm up will continue as temperatures will be well above normal through the weekend and could even reach 80 on Sunday. It will be mostly dry with only a stray shower or sprinkle from time to time.
As humidity rises, fog could also be an issue Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The forecast becomes very uncertain next week. A cold front will enter the region on Monday and stay stalled for possibly up to 4 days. Where the front stalls will determine not only temperatures but the potential for numerous rounds of rain. The stormiest period may be the middle of next week. Highs could be as warm as 80 at times or as cool as upper 50s and lower 60s. Stay tuned!
