NOPD: Suspect arrested after robbing man who got off bus with him
The New Orleans Police Department says a man has been arrested after a robbery in New Orleans Friday night.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department says a man has been arrested after a robbery in New Orleans Friday night.

According to police, the suspect, who has been identified as 26-year-old Derrius Crayton, and the victim got off the bus in the 6900 block of Pinewood Drive just before 8 p.m. When they got off, Crayton allegedly demanded that the victim go to the ATM and withdraw money. The suspect complied and gave Crayton cash and his cell phone.

Crayton fled the scene but was arrested by police a short time later.
