Teenager suffers bullet wound to the head in New Orleans East
A teenager suffered a head wound after a shooting in New Orleans East.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are looking for at least one gunman who shot at 15-year-old boy in the head while he was in a car in eastern New Orleans.

An early police report from the NOPD said the victim and three other juveniles were driving down the 6200 blk. of Morrison on Friday night when another vehicle approached from behind.

Someone opened fire, according to the police.

The victim suffered “bullet fragment wounds” to the head, back and forearm, the report said.

He was taken to an area hospital.

His condition is unknown.
