Jennifer Van Vrancken is a native New Orleanian. She is an attorney, a graduate of the Tulane School of Law, licensed to practice in the state of Louisiana.
She started her television career in Lake Charles, Louisiana at KPLC. She moved to Montgomery, Alabama to anchor and report at WSFA. Prior to moving home to New Orleans, she worked as an anchor and reporter a few hours up river in Memphis, Tennessee.
Whether it is traveling to NYC within days of the September 11th terrorist attacks, interviewing the late Christopher Reeve after the accident that left him paralyzed, covering the rebuilding of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina or accurately passing along the news of the day, Jennifer considers it an honor to share those experiences and information with viewers.
Being away from New Orleans for more than a decade, Jennifer is glad to be back in a place where the houses are colorful, the food is spicy, jazz fills the air and the question she gets most often is "Are you Johnny and Valerie's daughter?" She is.
