More About Chris Rose

Author, columnist and comedian Chris Rose has joined the staff at FOX 8 News. Rose, known for his unique take on the people and culture of New Orleans will provide on-camera commentary starting next week on the FOX 8 News at 9.

Rose started working in New Orleans for the Times-Picayune 25 years ago. He covered all types of local and national news, but really found his niche by giving readers a light-hearted look at life in New Orleans.

Rose gained national popularity following Hurricane Katrina as he chronicled the happiness and heartache of a city trying to recover, mentally and physically, from the nation’s worst natural disaster.

Rose received a Pulitzer Prize nomination for his book 1 Dead in Attic, which took readers on a dark and revealing journey through the early days of Katrina recovery. You can reach Chris by emailing him at crose@fox8tv.net
