GRAMBLING, La. (AP) - The Grambling State Concert Choir is
headed to a concert tour in the Washington, D.C. area.
The choir has been invited to perform at the historic Tacoma
Park Baptist Church and Shiloh Baptist Church, as well as for the
United States Armed Forces at the Fort Myer Military Base and the
Army Testing and Evaluation Command - both in Virginia.
As part of the White House Initiative on Historically Black
Colleges and Universities, there will be a panel discussion on the
role ofthe colleges in addition to the choir's performance.
