BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The Louisiana Lottery Corporation reports that nobody won the major jackpot in the Louisiana Lotto on Wednesday night, but there was one jackpot ticket sold in Kansas and one big winner in Louisiana in the multistate Powerball drawing.
The ticket sold in Kansas for the Powerball game matched all six numbers drawn. The winner won an estimated $96.6 million. Another ticket sold in Slidell matched 5-of-5 numbers for an estimated $200,000.
Louisiana Lotto players matching all six numbers drawn would have won or shared a $300,000 prize, which will rise to an estimated $325,000 for Saturday.
Nobody won the $150,000 Easy 5 jackpot.
The next Powerball drawing Saturday will have an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
