New Orleans- New Orleans Fire Department is investigating a three alarm fire at the Mayer Investments Apartments, located in the 1600 block of St. Charles.
It happened around 4:48 this morning, between the St. Charles Ave Athletic Club, and Sushi Brothers. Official's say the fire started on the second floor, and are not
sure how the fire started. One resident was stuck on the elevator during the fire and was rescued by the NOFD by a ladder from the second floor. The resident did not suffer any life threating injuries.
The Residents of the Mayer Investments Apartments were evacuated to a nearby business.
