Covington - The Louisiana Recovery Authority just secured $15 million to help hurricane victims who rebuilt their homes with Chinese drywall.

Details of how the money will be distributed will be announced within the next few weeks. But, state senator AG Crowe says some people who did not qualify for the Road Home Program may be eligible for some of this money. Crowe stressed that anyone may apply for these funds.

The LRA is first asking non-profits and faith based community groups to apply for these funds. Crowe said more details on how to get the money should be released by the end of the month.

Let me get this straight: if I didnt get LRA money the first go round, I "may" be able to get something this go round? And why do non-profits go first? I'm worse than non-profit. I'm LOSING money on rent and storage. Get with the program Louisiana. The only difference that exists between those affected with this drywall is the size/type of home. Dont start this, "whats your income?" game. I've had it.
