New Orleans - The New Orleans Saints are now in the process of having thousands of tickets printed up for the first playoff game. But even though the tickets aren't in fans' hands yet, many are already cashing in on the high demand.

Thousands of fans are already lining up to buy tickets online, now that the Saints are headed into the playoffs.

Gone are the days when you couldn't scalp tickets. Now, you can set your own price on any number of websites. The Saints Ticket Exchange on Ticketmaster is the only NFL authorized site. On it, ticket holders are offering over 2,500 tickets for sale, even though the tickets are still at the printers in Arkansas.

The online rate for a fifty yard line seat, seventeen rows up, is $2,500 dollars each. Although one seller is offering a thirty yard line seat, at $5,000 a piece, for fans interested in a once in a lifetime experience.

There are plenty of cheaper seats to be had. Hundreds of terrace, or upper-level seats are selling online for just under $270, still well over twice as much as the original asking. It's all perfectly legal, even though the city still has laws against scalping on the streets.

In fact, New Orleans police arrested a man selling counterfeit tickets in the french quarter two weeks ago.

While street ticket sales are dangerous, being online appears to be a safe bet. Stub Hub, another ticket clearinghouse, is offering dozens of seats for between $245 each to $5,000. They are even selling seats to the NFC Championship game, which could be held in New Orleans the weekend of January 23, if the Saints win their first round game.

Don't sell to anyone who is not ready to cheer our Saints. Home Field Advantage is only an advantage if your fans are there to do their part which is making it way too loud for the opposing team!!
