St. Tammany Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for help finding a man they say robbed and beat a woman who was trying to help him out.
Eric Bolton, 38, is accused of attacking the woman in her home and beating her badly with his fists before tying her up, stealing money from her purse and leaving in her car.
The car is described as a beige 2005 Toyota Corolla with Louisiana license plate number ORF-723.
Deputies suspect Bolton may have headed back to Avoyelles parish, his last known address.
The victim knew Bolton from a church group and was trying to help him get back on his feet after a long series of criminal offenses by allowing him to stay in her home.
