Jordon C. from
Gretna writes: "I have dozens of icons on my Windows XP desktop -- 56, to be exact. I have them arranged so I can find my applications in a hurry, but they get re-shuffled. I don't know why, it just happens. Is there a way to stop Windows from re-arranging my desktop?"
ANSWERED SEPTEMBER 2: Try a FREE program, called
DesktopOK. It memorizes and restores Windows desktop icon arrangements. The handy utility installs in the system tray and works like a charm. For more information,

Clay M. [no city given] asks: "Is there any way to recover email you've deleted in Outlook Express, even after you've emptied the trash folder?"
ANSWERED SEPTEMBER 2: A FREE program, called
Smart Email Recovery by SmartPCTools, recovers deleted email and corrupted email databases in Microsoft Outlook Express. The software does not attempt to fix corrupted email databases. Instead, it accesses DBX files in read-only mode. Recovered email messages are then converted into EML files, which can be imported back into Outlook Express (or other email clients).
