- Lawanda P. from Jefferson asks: "When I'm on my computer for a while, the following error message appears: 'Your system is low on virtual memory. To ensure that Windows runs properly, increase the size of your virtual memory paging file. For more information, see Help.'  I followed the suggestions in Windows Help, but the message still appears. How can I fix this?"
ANSWERED July 1: Microsoft offers a good explanation of virtual memory on Windows Help and How-to. Unfortunately, merely changing the size of virtual memory rarely stops the low virtual memory error message from appearing. It usually occurs in Windows XP and is caused by a program or background process with an uncontrollable appetite for memory, called a 'memory leak.' Identifying the errant application, however, requires some sophisticated sleuthing with Windows Task Manager. A good step-by-step guide is available on the Web. [ Click Here ]

- Gordon O. from Kenner writes: "I saw a lady at the airport using a cool-looking, handheld digital luggage scale. It was right out of 'Star Trek' or 'Batman.' Everything retracted. She left before I had a chance to ask her where she got it. I searched all over the Internet, but I can't find anything like it. Any ideas?"
ANSWERED July 1: Take a look at the On Your Weighâ„¢ Model 12266 by Travelon Bags. It fits your description. The handles and hook on the battery-powered digital scale pop out with the press of a button. The unit weighs luggage up to 110 lbs (50kg), and its backlit display even changes from blue to red when bag is overweight. Unfortunately, none of the retailers listed under "Where to buy" on the Model 12266's product page currently offers it for sale. Travelon, however, also makes an Ergonomic Digital Scale Model 12112, which lacks the 12266's 'wow factor' but has a built-in tape measure. The Model 12112 sells for $25 and is widely available.
