NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Tulane's football commitment class for 2010 has grown to 19.

The program secured pledges from two players in the past few days, including Port Allen's L.J. Parker's word Monday. Offensive lineman Ian Wiggins, who attends boarding school in Connecticut, committed Friday.

Parker is a standout at Port Allen High school, playing quarterback and free safety. He has rushed for 821 rushing and 12 touchdowns, and he has passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns.

Parker committed after visiting for the UTEP game this past Saturday, choosing Tulane over Louisiana-Lafayette -- among other schools in the state.

Parker told The Times-Picayune he connected with Tulane' staff and the players, and he felt at home at the university.
