Toilets

A growing trend in the market of toilets are low-flush, water saving models. A low-flush toilet uses only one point six gallons of water per flush. About half the amount used in older models. If your water rates are high, a low-flush toilet might be a money saving choice for you to make. For ease of cleaning, wall mounted toilets are best. If this style won't work in your bathroom, then it's a good idea to select a toilet with a small tank and the smallest surface to clean. Condensation on the outsides of the tank can be remedied by installing a tank liner or you can have a plumber install a tempering valve which will allow an amount of hot water into the tank. Before you select a new toilet you'll want to know if the existing plumbing will need to be modified. Contact a licensed plumber for advice.
