New Orleans - New Orleans Police say an SUV carrying a man and a child, was shot several times in a New Orleans East parking lot.
The shooting happened around 8:30 Wednesday night at a gas station, in the 7000 block of Crowder. The man was shot in the torso and rushed to the hospital.
Police say the child was not hurt during the shooting.
