Jefferson asks for bond after sentencing

Alexandria, Va. - Former Congressman William Jefferson wants a judge to let him to walk free after Friday's sentencing.

Jefferson's attorneys have submitted a request to keep him free on bond while he appeals his corruption conviction. In august, Jefferson was convicted of a bribery scheme.

Didn't he just file for Bankruptcy, claiming he has no money? Where's he going to get the money for the bond?
