Metairie – Jefferson Parish Sheriff Newell Normand says a second suspect in a Metairie armed robbery is already behind bars in New Orleans.
Michael Collier is accused of being involved in an armed robbery in the 300 block of Sena Drive. The victim was robbed as she got out of her vehicle at the location.
Authorities arrested the other suspect, Luhron Gorman, in Monroe last week.
Gorman was also wanted for several burglaries in the Mid-City and Lakeview areas. He and an accomplice appeared to be caught on a security camera near one of the houses.
Normand said Collier has been charged with armed robbery and will be booked into the Jefferson parish Correctional Center once he is released from Orleans Parish Prison.
