New Orleans - A 6th district NOPD officer is accused of raping a woman back in June.
Spokesperson Jonette Williams with the New Orleans Police Dept. says officer Henry Hollins is accused of rape and battery. The woman claims Hollins handcuffed her, drove behind a building on Tchoupitoulas Street, and raped her. The woman was let go afterwards.
Williams says the NOPD conducted an investigation and has forwarded it to the District Attorney's Office.
Hollins was arrested on one count of aggravated rape and 1 count of aggravated kidnapping.
