In a continuing sign of recovery, the University Of New Orleans reported a significant increase in the number of students applying for admission in the fall semester.
The number of applications increased in all categories, including freshmen, transfer students and graduate students, according to UNO administrators.
Freshmen applications increased to 3,648 or 8 percent more than the 3,368 at this point last year, according to UNO figures.
