BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 34-year-old Baton Rogue woman accused of stealing more than $12,000 from her employer, Family Manor Apartments.
According to the arrest affidavit, Shanetria Parker, who was a manager at the complex, took tenants' rent money by making their money orders out to herself. Police say she also issued fraudulent receipts for work that was never done.
Deputies arrested Parker at her home Wednesday, and booked her with 22 counts of forgery and two counts of theft.
