NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A veteran New Orleans police officer has died from complications of injuries he suffered in an off-duty motorcycle crash.
A police department spokeswoman said Thursday that 44-year-old Abreace Daniel died on Monday.
Officer Jonette William said Daniel was critically injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle in eastern New Orleans about two weeks ago.
