Newt Gingrich visits Louisiana

Newt Gingrich took his campaign to central Louisiana Wednesday speaking at Louisiana College in Pineville.

His message was expected to resonate with conservative Christians there.

"Here's an administration which apologizes to radical Islamism fanatics who are killing young Americans while it is waging war against the catholic church in the united states and against every Baptist and every other institution that is dedicated to right to life," said Gingrich.

The GOP candidate spent a full day of campaigning in the state. He also visited Lake Charles and Lafayette.
