Meg Gatto joined the Fox 8 News Team in March 2011 as a general assignment reporter.
Meg graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. During school, she interned at a number of stations in town, and dreamed of working here after graduation. After starting her career in Harrisonburg, Virginia at WHSV, Meg had the opportunity to move back. She landed a job at the ABC affiliate in New Orleans where she worked for two years before coming to Fox 8.
During her career, Meg has had the privilege to cover a wide range of high profile stories, from the mass shooting at Virginia Tech, to the BP oil spill. She is most happy though, telling the stories of rebuilding here, that she continues to see on a daily basis.
