Meg Gatto is the weekend anchor at FOX 8 and a general assignment reporter. She joined the FOX 8 team in March 2011.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Meg first came to New Orleans for college, attending Loyola University. Her first job took her to Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she covered the mass shooting at Virginia Tech.
Two years later, Meg couldn't wait to come back to New Orleans, and took a position with the ABC affiliate in town, before making the jump to FOX 8.
Throughout her career, Meg has covered many high profile stories including the Danziger Bridge trial, the BP oil spill, and Hurricane Isaac's impact on Louisiana.
