New Orleans, La. - The tall ships lining the riverfront began leaving Monday morning.
They're next stop is Nashville, Tennessee.
Nine ships from the US and around the world spent the past week docked here for NOLA Navy Week.
It marked the start of the three year celebration commemorating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner.
The Navy plans to return to New Orleans in 2015 to signal the end of the Bicentennial celebration.
