Computer users have trouble with FBI malware help

Associated Press Associated Press

CNN - A website designed to protect computer users from an internet shutdown this summer has a problem of its own.

Computer experts suspect www.dcwg.org has become difficult to access because it's getting so much traffic.

FBI agents want computer users to visit the site.

It can help you check for malware infection from rouge servers at the center of an internet attack.

It can also help you remove the malware.

Agents plan to shutdown the rouge servers in July.

If agents had merely shut down the servers right away, many infected computers would not be able to access the internet.

Agents suspect hundreds of thousands of computers have been infected.
