LOS ANGELES, CA - A police chase involving a woman who clung to the side of a van driver by a bank robbery suspect ended Monday near Los Angeles.

Police tell KTLA the incident started when a man robbed a credit union in West Covina, CA, then drove off in a minivan. After officers caught up with the vehicle on a freeway, a woman approached, then jumped onto the side of the van. Television station cameras show her clinging to a passenger door, while the van whipped around corners. She finally climbing through the van's window.

The van eventually stopped. While the woman surrendered, the suspect remained inside the vehicle, until a K9 officer named "Rambo" jumped in, and dragged him to the ground.
