Cops convicted in Danziger Bridge shootings ask for new trial

New Orleans, La. - Four former NOPD officers convicted in the Danziger Bridge shooting case want a new trial.

Attorneys claim federal prosecutors hid evidence and relied on false testimony in the case.

The motion filed by the attorney for Sgt. Kenneth Bowen says federal prosecutors only recently turned over key videotaped evidence.

The motion, filed Friday says that video proves testimony by a government witness was false.

Attorneys for Anthony Villavaso, Robert Faulcon and Robert Gesevius adopted and filed the same motion.
