New Orleans, La. - Alcohol Tobacco Control agents arrested the owner of an Uptown bar who investigators say continued to allow minors in even after numerous warnings.
Agents arrested 39 year-old Jason Jaume Saturday night at The Hanger on S. Rendon.
They say two months ago the agents issued Jaume a warning.
In response a citizen's complaint that family-oriented wrestling events were being held at the bar, on May 4th, ATC agents and NOPD officers say they found 38 minors under the age of 17 inside the bar. They say the youngest child was three years old.
ATC Commissioner Troy Hebert says the agency will not tolerate this blatant disregard of the law.
The business could face fines of up to $500 per violation and each minor found in the bar is considered a separate violation.
