Low water pressure on east bank of St. Charles Parish

Destrehan, La. - Residents living on the east bank of St. Charles Parish are experiencing low water pressure.  Waterworks crews are currently repairing a blown out water valve in the Destrehan area. The parish says residents and businesses on the east bank may not see water pressure return to normal until sometime Thursday afternoon.  Repairs, which began around 12:30 pm, are expected to take about four hours to complete.
