Man found shot to death in St. Rose


St. Rose, LA - Officers with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Department are investigating the shooting death of an unidentified African-American man. The incident occurred Tuesday around 8:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Turtle Creek Lane. The victim's identity will be released after family members are notified.

Police say sheriff's deputies responded after people in the area heard several shots being fired. Officers arrived on the scene to find the victim shot multiple times inside of a car. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are still in the process of gathering information and evidence to find the person(s) responsible for this incident.
